Kawempe Muslim will be seeking to end Kampala Queens un beaten run when they visit them at Kabojja grounds on Sunday.

The Ayub Khalifa coached have looked a better side compared to the previous season where they struggled.

They are currently fourth on the log, with 10 points, with 2 wins, four draws and suffered only one loss.

They come into Sunday’s game, having picked a 1-all draw against defending champions She Corporate at home last weekend.

Speaking ahead of the game, Kawempe’s midfielder Hadija Nandago said that they have been waiting for this day to face the Queens.

“We have prepared very well, all the players are in good shape. We have been waiting for this day and I hope we shall get maximum points, he told the pressmen on Thursday.

Against Kampala Queens, they face a high flying side that has picked seven wins in a row and are currently on top.

But Kawempe will bank on the fact that they beat the same side at Kabojja last season in their opener, thanks to Sharon Naddunga’s brace.

Nandago together with her teammate Shakira Nyiragahirwa, who have eight goals combined so far this season will be tasked to lift their side on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the hosts, Kampala Queens, will be targeting to extend their un beaten run when they host Kawempe Muslim at Kabojja.

It’s been a brilliant start for the Queens who have collected seven wins out of seven games and are currently on top with 21 points.

They come into this one, having picked a vital 1-0 win against Lady Doves in Masindi, thanks to Resty Nanziri’s strike.

Back at home, they host a Kawempe Muslim side, that handed them their only home defeat last season at the same venue and it will be time for revenge.

And this time round, they will bank on their good performance so far in the season to get the job done.

Resty Nanziri, their current top scorer on six goals will once again be tasked to carry her scoring boots as they seek to end the first round in style.
