Alex ‘Benzema’ Kitata scored a hat-trick as Gaddafi proved too good for Bright Stars in a league game held at Kakindu.

Kitata bundled in the opener in the 6th minute to set the tone and wasted another opportunity to double the advantage when he missed a chance after a good delivery from Godfrey Lwesibawa.

But he got his second with a header off a good freekick from Simon Sserunkuma in the 77th minute.

With seven minutes to full-time, he slotted in the third to complete his hat-trick, the first scored this season.

It could have been worse for the Visitors but Brian Kalumba headed wide while Johnson Odongo skewed off the target with a keeper beaten.

Bright Stars were the second best on the day but had few chances including Emmanuel Loki who was denied by the goalkeeper.

Sharing Nsereko failed to find the target with a goal at his mercy while Sam Ssenyonjo headed over the cross bar after a neat cross from Denis Omony Kaka.

The win extends Gaddafi’s unbeaten run and have now collected nine points in six games this season under Wasswa Bbosa.

Bright Stars who have five points and remain without a win this season, suffer back to back defeats having lost to SC Villa at Kavumba.
