Olila High school WFC came from a goal down to register a 4-1 win over Uganda Martrys Lubaga in a Fufa Women super league game held at Soroti grounds on Saturday.
Second half goals from Bira Nadunga (penalty), Ariokot Eunice and a brace from Apiding Cecilia ensured that the Soroti based side completed a come back.
Brenda Munyana had earlier put Uganda Martrys ahead scoring from the spot before half time before her side failed to contain the second half pressure.
The win ensured that Olila bounced back to winning ways after their four games winless streak.
For Uganda Martrys, it was a disappointing outing for them and also denied them a chance to keep pressure on current leaders Kampala Queens.
Playing away from home, Munyana put the Lubaga based side ahead from the spot in the 15th minute and her goal was the difference before the break.
After recess, the hosts, Olila responded through Nadunga, who also scored from the spot to level matters with two minutes after the restart.
Ariokot made it two for the hosts with seven to play before Apiding scored two quick goals in a space of two minutes in added time.
Victory saw Olila bounce back to winning ways and they now move to nine points in the sixth position after seven games in the season . It was also their third win at home this season in soroti.
For Uganda Martrys, it is a big blow to them in their quest to keep pressure on current leaders Kampala Queens. They remain on 13 points in the second position after seven games so far.
