FUFA Women Super league side Kampala Queens will take a long trip to Masindi as they face Lady Doves on Sunday at Katushabe grounds.
The Queens of soccer, who are current table leaders will be targeting to extend their unbeaten run with another positive result.
The Kabojja based club have been impressive this season, winning all their six opening and on top with 18 points.
They come into Sunday’s having beaten Olila High school 2-0 in their recent game at Njeru, thanks to goals from Zainah Nandede and Resty Nanziri, a game that endured they picked a sixth win in a row.
But in Lady Doves, they face another a big test away from home, against a side that has also had a good run ever since falling in their opening two games.
Speaking ahead of the game, Kampala Queens assistant Alimiah Senyange said that the goal is maintain the unbeaten run.
“We come into this game and we want to keep our unbeaten run and keep going.
They (Lady Doves) are a good team but we are also a better side, Senyange told the club’s media on Saturday.
Assistant captain Shamirah Nalugya said “We are very prepared for tomorrow’s game. We know they are not an easy team but we are going to give all our best to get maximum points, Nalugya said.
On Sunday, Kampala Queens will rely more on Margret Kunihira, Resty Nanziri who have been brilliant in their opening six games.
Meanwhile, the hosts, Lady Doves, will be seeking to put a stop on Kampala Queen’s perfect start when they welcome them Masindi.
The believers have had a good run of results ever since suffering two losses in their opening games of the season against Olila High school and Makerere University.
Before last weekend’s 1-all draw against She Corporate, Lady Doves had picked three consecutive wins with each coming against Kawempe Muslim, Rines WFC and new comers Asubo Gafford.
In Kampala Queens, they host a high flying side that has won all their six opening games in the season and are still un beaten.
But they will bank on their home advantage to pick a needed result at home and bounce back.
Their leading top scorer this season, Norah Alupo (5 goals) will be tasked to lift up her side once again on Sunday.
