Five athletes walked home with Fortebet Real Stars Sports Awards as the company continued to reward excellence.
In a brief event held on Tuesday in Lugogo, the ceremony celebrated the best performers of October in various disciplines including Woodball.
Rose Akon was named the best basketball player after helping UCU Lady Canons dethrone JKL Lady Dolphins in the best of seven finals series.
Akon averaged double figures in scoring and rebounding during the finals, beating Francis Azolibe (City Oilers) and David Deng Dikong (Nam Blazers) to the award.
In the football category, goalkeeper Alfred Mudekereza took the honours for his heroic saves as Vipers eliminated TP Mazembe to storm CAF Champions League groups.
He beat BUL striker Richard Wandyaka and Arua Hill defender Rashid Toha who were also nominated for the award.
In Golf, Andrew Ssekibejja clinched the gong after winning the Amateurs tournament at the concluded Uganda Golf Open.
He beat Martha Babirye who won the Ladies Open and Michael Alunga who won the Tea fields Trophy in Kenya.
Immaculate Nakisuyi was named the best Cricket player for her impressive form at Aziz Damani in the National league, beating fellow nominees Deepash Hiran (Patidar) and Aloysius Odoi (JACC).
Christine Birungi of Ndejje University took home the best Woodball player of November after clinching gold at Uganda open in Mbale.
She beat Emminents duo of Israel Muwanguzi and Joan Mukoova.
