Hussein Mbalangu: Blacks Power Unveil New Coach

Lira-based Uganda Premier League side Blacks Power have unveiled Hussein Mbalangu as their Head coach.

The former Arua Hill and Mbarara City Head Coach comes in place of Peter Onen who was sacked after two games.

Mbalangu steered Arua Hill to the FUFA Big League title and their first ever Uganda Premier League promotion two years ago.

And he joins Blacks Power having been relieved of his duties by Somalia based Mogadishu City.

Since their debut in the top flight, Mbalangu will be the third coach to take charge of Blacks Power after Anthony Ssekitto was appointed as the interim coach following the sacking of Peter Onen.

The new comers have had a difficult start to the season and are winless in the opening three matches with two defeats to BUL and Busoga United and a one all draw with Bright Stars.

Mbalangu finds Blacks Power bottom of the log with one point after 3 matches.

His first game will be away to Wakiso Giants on Friday 21st at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
