Uganda Premier League newcomers have appointed Anthony Ssekitto as their new coach, The-SportsNation can exclusively report.
As first reported by this website, Blacks Power parted ways with Peter Onen just two matches into their top flight adventure.
Close sources at the club insist that Onen was just suspended, with Ssekitto coming in on an interim basis.
Goalkeeping Coach Abu Kigenyi was also suspended by the club.
Ssekitto has been conducting the training sessions this week.
He returns at the club for the first time since leaving the team back in March 2020, then playing as Bukedea Town Council FC.
The CAF B License holder has had experience having coached at Express (Wembley), Amuka Bright Stars, Paidha Blacks Angels, Kyetume and Kitara FC.
He will be on bench as Blacks Power welcome Bright Stars at Akii-bua Stadium in Lira on Tuesday in their third league match.
Blacks Power has had a poor start to the season, with two losses from as many games.
They were beaten in their top flight opener 5-0 by BUL FC at Akibua Stadium in Lira before falling 2-0 to Busoga United at Kakindu.
