Express FC head coach James Odoch has hailed his attacker Allan Kayiwa for his great performance against URA FC on Saturday.
Kayiwa scored the all important goal to lift the Red Eagles who their first win of the season at Wankulukuku.
Odoch made outrageous prediction, claiming that Kayiwa who has scored two goals from as many goal, will be the top scorer!
“Kayiwa is a key player, with his experience he has added a lot to the team and I think he will be the top scorer at the end of the season,” Odoch told the pressmen after the game.
The former Vipers winger scored in the first game as they drew 1-1 against UPDF in their opener at Bombo grounds.
And this time, Kayiwa scored another beauty, with a well executed freekick in the 48th minute, to ensure that his side got off the mark in style at home.
About the general performance of the team, Odoch who is in his first full season as Express head coach said:
“I thank my players for the good job done. We wanted to win this game since it our first at home and the boys did that. Yes we missed some chances but good enough we won,” he added.
Victory ensured that Express registered their first win of the season and are now on four points after two games.
They will visit rivals SC Villa on Friday 14th this month, but at a familiar venue Wankulukuku stadium, where the Joggos are hosting their home games from this season.
