The tournament attracted six groups which were pitted in two groups of three, where the top two storm the semis.

Tanzania will now face South Sudan who finished second in Group B behind Uganda.

Hamza Lutalo’s Uganda Cubs finished top of Group A with six points after wins over Burundi and South Sudan.

A win against Somalia on Wednesday will not only send Uganda to the final but will book the side a ticket to the U17 AFCON due next year in Algeria.
