Uganda Cranes Midfielder Isma Mugulusi has sealed a deal to join Greek club Makedonikos FC.
His agent Eugene Sepuuya has confirmed via a tweet on Sunday.
“We (are) pleased to announce that Isma Mugulusi has joined Makedonikos FC,” Sepuuya tweeted.
“Thanks to everyone involved in his development, the parents who trusted us with him at a minor age, the doctors at Paok who helped us effect that historical recovery. Fufa ,Busoga United, all his coaches at all levels including the team in Greece of Andreas and Petros Koukouras plus all well wishers.”
Makedonikos will be competing in Greece Super League II, the second tier of the country’s football league hierarchy.
Mugulusi returned to fitness midway this year after he was operated in Greece when he teared his lateral meniscus anterior horn in 2021.
He left SC Villa having joined Busoga United, and played no game for the former.
He has featured for Uganda U17 and U20 teams, reaching the AFCON finals with the latter last year.
