FUFA has named the match day one officials for the new 2022/23 Uganda premier League season.
The new UPL season will get underway this week on Friday 30th/September/22 as defending champions Vipers SC host Bright Stars at the St. Mary’s stadium in Kitende.
And this game has been handed to Ali Sabila, who will be the centre referee on the day.
He will be assisted by Isa Masembe and Okudra Emmanuel as the first and second assistants respectively.
Tuge Tumusiume will serve as the fourth official, Batte Denis as the referee assessor while Paul Kabaikaramu will be the general cordinator on the day.
Elsewhere, Asaduh Ssemeere will the centre referee as KCCA FC welcome Wakiso Giants on Saturday 1st/ October at the MTn Omondi stadium in Lugogo.
Okello Lee and Mulindi Hakim will be the first and second assistants respectively while Kavuma Vincent will serve as the fourth official on the day.
Miiro Brian Nsubuga has been named as the referee assessor while the general cordinator will be Kirumira Festus.
The opener between Vipers and Bright stars and one between KCCA FC against Wakiso Giants will all be broadcasted on Fufa TV.
And all other games will kick off at the same time 4pm at different venues.
This season, the Federation confirmed 15 clubs after Kyetume FC failed to meet the Fufa club licensing requirements.
