Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants have announced their Captains ahead of the season.
The purple sharks via their websites have named Hassan Ssenyonjo as the first team Captain.
Ssenyonjo will be assisted by Lawrence Bukenya as the first assistant and Rahmat Ssenfuka will be the second assistant Captain.
The pair replaces longest serving Defenders Fahad Kawooya and Hassan Wasswa Dazo after they departed following the end of their contracts.
Feni Ali, Yasin Mugabi and Hassan Ssenyonjo are the three players who have captained Wakiso Giants since its rebranding in 2018.
The Purple Sharks beefed up their squad ahead of the new season with seven new signings.
They signed Bashir Sekagya, Mikidad Ssenyonga, Lincoln Mukisa, Collins Onega, Marvin Nyanzi, Pascal Irasa and Norman Ogik.
Marvin Mukiibi and Andrew Kalyango were Promoted from the Academy.
However, Ayala’s side lost a number of experienced players including Hassan Wasswa Dazo, Fahad Kawooya, Edward Satulo, Simon Namwanja, Derrick Emukule, Pius Kaggwa and Frank Ssenyondo.
Wakiso Giants will travel away to KCCA on Saturday 1st October for their opening match of the season.
