Rines WFC Vs UCU Lady Cardinals – Kabaka Kyabagu, 11 am
Lady Doves Vs Makerere University- Katushabe Grounds, 10 am
Fufa Women Super League newbies Asubo Gafford Ladies team will be seeking to bounce back with victory when they host Uganda Martyrs H/S Lubaga at Kampala Quality grounds on Saturday.
Asubo, who are new entrants in the league, suffered a 5-0 loss to Kampala Queens in their first game of the season last Sunday.
And now back at home, they will be seeking for a first win in the top flight.
Speaking ahead of the game, Asubo Gafford head coach Ogogo Isaac is optimistic of positive results despite falling in the first game.
“We have prepared well for the game. We worked on some weak areas after losing our first game against Kampala Queens especially in my defense, since my players are still new to the league. We are going to come with a positive mindset and hope to get the needed result,” he told the club’s media on Friday.
Uganda Martyrs, on the other hand will be seeking to extend their perfect start into this new season.
The Lubaga based club kicked off the new season with a 2-0 win over Rines WFC last Sunday, thanks to a goal each from Kevin Nakacwa and Brenda Munyana.
Against Asubo Gafford, they face a wounded side and they will be seeking to capitalise on that to extend their perfect start.
Following the new adjustments from the Federation, all weekend games will kick off in the morning at different venues.
And the federation is yet to clarify whether the new kick off time will apply for the remaining part of the Fufa Women Super League games.
