Uganda cranes Goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya and former KCCA FC forward Davis Kasirye are set to join Kenyan premier League side Sofapaka FC.
The two are joining the Kenyan side as free agents after ending their stay at their previous clubs.
It has been understood that the pair are currently in Kenya ahead of their medicals to see that the deal gets finalised.
Recently in July this year, Kigonya left Tanzania side Azam FC where he had spent two years.
And now, the goalkeeper will be making a return to Sofapaka ever since leaving them in 2016.
He has previously had stints at Kakamega Home Boyz another Kenyan side, Zambia’s Forest Rangers, Soana and Bright Stars in Uganda.
For Kasirye, he joins the side after ending his stay at Uganda premier League side KCCA, where he was last season.
He had signed a one year renewable contract, but decided not to renew his stay with the Kasasiro Boys.
Previously, the lanky forward has played for Zambia’s Zesco United, Rayon Sports in Rwanda. In Uganda, he has featured for URA, Vipers and UPDF FC.
