Noordin Bunjo Joins Bright Stars

Uganda Premier League side Bright Stars have officially announced the signing of midfielder Noordin Bunjo.

Bunjo joins Brights Stars from Proline FC on a permanent deal after its relegation to regional league.

The midfielder returns to playing top flight football after a period of two years as he mainly featured in the Big league for Proline FC.

He becomes the second player to be officially unveiled by the Kawempe-based side after they signed Sam Ssenyonjo.

Bungo is a huge aspect to the building process at Bright Stars under coach Asaph Mwebaze and will be adding creativity going forward.

During his reign at Proline, Bunjo guided the club to a Uganda Cup trophy which saw them take part in the CAF confederation cup qualifying rounds in 2021.

Bunjo is expected to fill the void left by Jungu Methodius as Bright Stars look forward to a new playing system under coach Asaph Mwebaze.

The Uganda Premier League will kick off in just less than ten days from now and Bright Stars will open up their campaign with atrip to Vipers on the 30th September.
