•CBE 1-2 She Corporate
•Simba Queens 5-1 AS Kigali
She Corporate ousted Commercial Bank of Ethiopia after a 2-1 semifinal victory at Chamazi Sports complex in the CECAFA regional qualifiers of the Africa Women Champions league.
Loza Abela had drawn the game 1-1 after the hour mark to cancel out She Corporate opener by Anita Namata in the 20th minute.
Phionah Nabumba then scored what proved to be the winner with a well taken freekick with 15 minutes to play.
The win sends Uganda’s representatives to the final with Simba Queens, just a win away from qualifying to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The Sharks could have taken an early lead
but Nabbumba’s beautiful freekick was punched over the crossbar.
In the 20th minute, Joanita Ainembabazi set up Nabumba for a one on one with the Keeper but her shot hit the post, but Namata was in the right place to slot home from the rebound.
The Sharks defended well to deny Abela Loza and Medina Awol from hurting their defence as the first stanza ended in a 1-0 lead for she Corporates.
In the second stanza, CBE started controlling proceedings and were later rewarded when pounced in the 62nd minute.

Nabbumba curled in a beautiful free kick to restore the sharks lead in the 75th minute and the side held on to a deserved win.
It’s strong to note that CBE eliminated Uganda’s Lady Doves last season at this stage.
