The Competitions Committee has issued out the fixture for the forthcoming 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League season.
The season will commence on September 17 before the first round end on November 20. The second round will kickoff on February 5 next year and end on May 7 2023 when the eventual champions will be crowned.
She Corporate are the defending champions, clinching the title on the last day of the season after a goalless draw against fellow contenders Kampala Queens, both teams finishing with 39 points, but the former edged on goal difference.
They will begin their title defence away to Makerere University, a newly promoted side, at MUK playgrounds.
She Mak, as Makerere team is known, were promoted from FUFA Women Elite League after topping the Elizabeth group, going on to win the overall title after beating Asubo Gafford Ladies in the final.
As revealed above, Asubo Gafford Ladies, is the other promoted team after clinching top place in the Victoria Group with 23 points to beat off resistance from Bunyarugaru team.
Gafford face last season’s runners up Kampala Queens at IUIU Kabojja in their season opener.
Mak and Gafford replaced She Maroons and Tooro Queens who were relegated from the FUFA Women Super League last season.
