Asante Kotoko who recently signed Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala, have announced new head coach Seydou ‘Krol’ Zerbo.

Zerbo, a Burkinabe tactician, has joined on a one-year contract with an option for a further year.

He was on the touchline as Burkina Faso exited the 2020 CHAN finals at group stages.

He replaces Prosper Ogum Narteh who won the club a league title before stepping down in July this year.

Mukwala who has just joined the Porcupine Warriors, will seek to impress the Burkinabe in order to command a starting place in the team.

In related developments, the Club cancelled their trip to Turkey and will hence their preseason in Sudan.

They are preparing to face Rail Club Kadiogo (Burkina Faso) in CAF Champions League preliminary round of Qualifiers.
