Dundee United: Anaku In, Walusimbi To Be Loaned

Scottish side Dundee United is set to announce the signing of Ugandan Striker Sadat Anaku and Defender Enock Walusimbi.

The duo have been with the side on trials and have already impressed the technical team, and the deal to join looks imminent.

Anaku (KCCA) and Walusimbi (Express) left for United Kingdom in July as part of Team Fundi Project, an initiative bankrolled by Government.

Dundee United finished fourth, behind Champions Celtic, Rangers and Hearts, in Scottish Premiership last season.

Anaku is expected to sign on Sunday before Enock Walusimbi who will be sent to Peterhead on loan.

Peterhead plays in League one of Scottish Football hierarchy.

Anaku has featured in three friendly games where he scored a goal against Leicester Youth side and the 21-year old may start with the Club’s Youth team before joining the senior team.

The duo are set to join Motherwell defender Bevis Mugabi as Ugandan stars playing in Scottish Leagues.
