Uganda Premier League newcomers Maroons FC have confirmed their 10th signing ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The Luzira-based side have unveiled left back Fredrick Kigozi on a two-year deal.
The former BUL and Tooro United player is quoted by the club: “Joining Maroons is a great opportunity to develop my career further more, the club is focused and there vision suites mine. It’s the team of the moment defined by the unique playing style which I will perfectly fit in.”
“The coaches already like me and my team mates are equally hospitable, i can’t wait to exhibit my talent before the amazing fans, they should expect a lot.”
Kigozi joins a couple of new additions at the club including Lawrence Tezikya and Umar Kyebatala who joined the club on loan from Vipers.
The other new signings are Isaac Mpagi, David Ndihabwe, Brian Nkuubi, Jacob Okao, Samson Kigozi, Arafat Kakonge and Noel Nassasira.
