Uganda Premier League side BUL FC will host their Continental games at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
BUL CEO Joseph Mutaka confirmed the developments to The-SportsNation.
Not that they had any other option to host from elsewhere because Kitende is the only stadium with the requirements to host a Continental game.
St Mary’s Stadium Kitende is home for Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC who will be representing the country in CAF Champions League.
BUL’s match at Kitende was a 1-1 draw with hosts Vipers, with Simon Peter Oketch scoring late in the game for the Eastern Giants.
BUL FC earned a right to represent Uganda at the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time after beating Vipers in Uganda Cup.
They have been pitted against Egyptian side Future FC at the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary Qualifiers.
They will host the first leg on September 9-11 before visiting Egypt for the return leg on September 16-18.
