•Yei Joint Stars Vs GRFC

The CAF Women champions League qualifiers in the CECAFA region continues on Wednesday as Ugandan representative She Corporates take on Tanzania giants Simba Queens in Group B.

She Corporate collected maximum points in the opener with a deserved 6-0 win over South Sudan’s Yei Joint Stars and a second win will guarantee a place in the knockout.

The Sharks have expressed their readiness and are eager to collect maximum points.

“We play an experienced Simba Queens team but we are ready and well prepared as everyone at the team is eager to put up a great fight in a challenge where we expect maximum points,” Said Captain Naome Nagadya

“We managed to win our first game and it has boosted the motivation in the team as we expect to give our supporters joy by registering positive results.”

She Corporates sit joint top of the table with Simba Queens who also won their first encounter 6-0 against Garde Republicaine FC from Djibouti.

And whatever the result on Wednesday, both She Corporate and Simba Queens are favourites to go a long way in this competition.

But winning the group will surely give She Corporate a chance to avoid favourites Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) at the semis who are likely to top Group A.

The sharks will rely more on the midfield trio of Nagadya, Cissy Nantongo and Phionah Nabumba who were very vital in their first game.

They will have to face challenges from experienced Simba Queens players like Opa Clement, Asha Djafari, Topister Situma and Joelle Bukuru.
