Uganda’s 3×3 Women Basketball team have suffered an early exit at the ongoing Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkey.

The Gazelles lost both their Pool games on Monday – They were obliterated by Mali 22-07 and fell to Uzbekistan 12-10 at the Karatay Congress Centre.

The team comprises of Zainah Lokwameri, Maureen Amoding, Rita Imanishimwe and Hope Akello.

The Men’s side who beat Maldives 27-7 and Guyana 18-15, return to action on Tuesday for two games against Iran and Mauritania as they seek for Quarterfinal slots.

The men’s team has David Okello, Titus Lual, Tonny Drilleba and James Okello.

Uganda has won eight medals at the ongoing games including six from Para Swimmer Husna Kukundakwe.
