Friendly: Bobosi Screamer Helps Vipers Overcome Rayon Sports

Monday, August 15
•Rayon Sports 0-1 Vipers SC

Bobosi Byaruhanga scored a beauty as Vipers edged Rwanda’s Rayon Sports in a friendly match at Nyamirambo stadium in Kigali.

Bobosi’s goal came in the third minute with his long-range right footed rocket finding the top corner with force and inevitability to leave the goalkeeper stunned.

And the Venoms held on to win their second Preseason game having beaten Young African 2-0 in Dar Es Salaam earlier.

However, the win might have come at the cost for Vipers who saw Frank Zaga Tumwesigye stretchered off late in the game after a nasty injury.

He joins Vipers sickbay that already has Paul Mucureezi and new signing Lumala Abdu who didn’t make the trip.

It has been an eventful outing for the Venoms in Rwanda who toured the Kigali city in an open-bus (sight-seeing) and also visited the Kigali Memorial to pay respect to the Victims of the Genocide war.
