Bul FC have continued to strengthen their squad with the addition of former Vipers player Denis Mwemezi.
Mwemezi has put penned a two years contract that will keep him at the Jinja-based side till 2024.
Upon his unveiling, Mwemezi was quick to express his delight and revealed his targets at his new home.
“I am super excited to join one of the best and big clubs in the country, it’s the club that I think will help me grow and advance in my footballing career,” Mwemezi said.
“My target is to play and help the team achieve more success, trophies and at least take the club into CAF confederation cup group stages.”
Mwemezi came on the scene in 2019 when he emerged as the top scorer in the Buganda Masaza tournament while at Ssese Ssaza before joining Vipers where he has been for three years.
But his time at the Kitende based side has been limited due to the stiff competition at the club and he was loaned out to Tooro United the previous season for more game time.
He now becomes the 7th signing in this transfer window after forward Frank Kalanda, goalkeeper Tom Ikara, Emmanuel Obua, defender Ronald Otti, forward Athony Mayanja and defender Benon Tahomera.
At BUL FC, he will be expected to bring in more experience as they gear up for the upcoming continental football.
BUL who beat Vipers in the Uganda Cup finals this year will represent the country in the CAF confederations cup next season.
