UCU Canons beat UPDF Tomahawks to return to winning ways in the Tusker-Lite sponsored National Basketball League on Sunday.

It’s the first win for the Canons in three games after two previous defeats against Nam Blazers and Our Saviour.

Titus Lual scored a double double of 15 points and 18 rebounds to anchor the Canons home.

Fayed Baale who just graduated two days before the match, scored 13 points while Fadhil Chuma added 11 rebounds in the victory.

Jonathan Egau (11) and Wilberforce Pirwoth (10) scored for the Tomahawks.

It’s a 15th win for UCU who have lost five games this season while UPDF Tomahawks have a 13-10 record.
