James Begisa: URA Unveil Right Back

Uganda premier league side URA FC have officially unveiled former UPDF right back James Begisa, it is official.

Begisa joins the Tax collectors on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at the club for the next two years.

He becomes the second signing at the club, after forward George Ssenkaaba who recently crossed from Express FC.

Upon his unveiling, Begisa was quick to express his delight for joining the club.

“I chose URA FC because I believe it’s the Club that has the playing style that I can fit in. I am also happy to join the club because it has senior players who I know will help push me to learn more and improve my game,” he told the club’s media.

Begisa, given his qualities becomes a perfect replacement of former right back Ashraf Mandela, who recently joined Vipers SC.

The club also beefed up their technical bench with addition of former She Corporates coach Ali Zinda.

URA have already lost a couple of players including forward Steven Mukwala, who joined Ghana top flight side Asante Kotoko.
