Attacking Midfielder Isma Mugulusi is ready to go again after a spell out due to injury.
Mugulusi is part of the Uganda Cranes team preparing for the forthcoming CHAN Qualifiers.
The Midfielder is back to fitness six months after he was operated in Thesalonika, Greece after tearing his lateral meniscus anterior horn.
“I managed to go through it mentally and physically and I am happy to be back on my feet and play again,” Mugulusi said after Tuesday’s morning training session at Kisasi.
“I am ready to represent my country again and this is a good honour for me, I appreciate the management for giving me a chance once again.
“The injury was a major set-back but I thank God that I managed to go through the hard period.”
The player left Busoga United and signed for SC Villa but he is currently unattached after leaving SC Villa without playing a single game.
The exciting midfielder has featured for both Uganda U17 (Cubs) and U20 (Hippos) teams and was part of the squad that reached the final of the AFCON U20 last year.
He will be hoping to make it to the final squad for CHAN Qualifiers as Uganda face Tanzania/Somalia.
