Sand Cranes Off To Comoros

Uganda’s National Beach Soccer team, the Sand Cranes, have left for Comoros ahead of the AFCON Beach Soccer Qualifiers.

The contingent flew out on Friday morning aboard Kenya Airlines, FUFA has confirmed.

The team will face Comoros in Beach Soccer AFCON 2022 Qualifiers with the first leg slated for Sunday, 24th July in Comoros.

Uganda is seeking to return to the final tournament for the second successive time having played at the 2021 edition in Senegal where the team reached the semifinals.
