Jungu Methodius Joins Mbarara City

Mbarara City have confirmed the signing of attacking Midfielder Jungu Methodius on a three-year deal.

Jungu joins the side from Bright Stars, as the Ankole Lions strengthen their squad ahead of a strange season in FUFA Big League.

Blessed with pace and trickery, Jungu can play wide and also through the middle.

He can take off opponents and find space in the defence despite his small body stature.

He returns to Mbarara where he was born on July 13 1998 to Tiago Mubulilya Methodius (Dad) and Kabashakira Methodius (Mum).

He studied at Bombo Barracks Primary School for Primary one to Primary Four and later joined Buddo Junior School.

He later attended St Mary’s SS Kitende for both O & A level and later went to Ndejje University.

At Kitende, he won the Copa Coca-cola twice.

In joined Young Simba FC in 2003 later Bombo, Juventus Namasuba, Sparta 09, Wembley (Express JT), Jogoo Young, Vipers Junior Team before signing for Bright Stars in 2016.

He is the latest signing for Mbarara City after Manja Mori Wyvliff from CATDA.

The Club, that collected 25 points to finish 15th last season, lost a couple of players including Ronald Otti, Pistis Barenge and Makueth Wol.
