BUL have invaded rivals Busoga United to acquire their captain Anthony Mayanja, it’s official.
Mayanja becomes the fifth signing of the Eastern Giants in ongoing transfer window.
He has joined the Uganda Cup holders on a two-year renewable contract.
Mayanja captained Busoga for a season, then replacing George Kasonko, another former Busoga Captain taken by BUL.
He was so influential in Busoga’s survival of relegation last season.
“I am excited to join the winning team,” he said.
“BUL won the Uganda cup last season and I come to provide more efforts so that we can win more trophies in the coming seasons.”
“I am ready for the task at hand especially in the CAF confederation cup, even if the competition is not easy, we are going there to compete, not to participate.”
Frank Kalanda, Ronald Otti, Emmanuel Obua and Tom Ikara are the other new signings at BUL FC.
