Walusimbi, Anaku Already in UK for Trials

Express Defender Enock Walusimbi and KCCA striker Sadat Anaku are already in United Kingdom for trials.

The duo, as earlier stated by this website, will be showcasing their ability to Scottish side Dundee United.

The arrangement was made by Team Fundi Project that saw a selected group of talented youngsters play four exhibition matches in Spain this year.

Simon Baligeya (FC Lyon) Ivan Irinimbabazi (AS Saint Priest), Hakim Kiwanuka (Olympique Laval) and Ali Mwirusi (FC Vaulx) have also left for trials in France on Sunday.

The other group of eight players set for Portugal and Spain will be leaving in the due course as well.

Walusimbi, a former National U23 captain (Uganda Kobs) has been in fine form since joining Express in 2020 and has already got senior national team caps.

The former Bright Stars, Shafranto and Nansana United defender won the League with Express before guiding the club to CECAFA Championship in 2021.
