Uganda Cranes Attacking Midfielder Farouk Miya has joined Caykur Rizespor in Turkey, the club has announced.
Rizespor was relegated last season from Turkish Super Liga after finishing 17th with 36 points and are currently recruiting to see the side return to the top flight.
The Club has announced that Miya has joined on a two-year deal.
Miya has not played competitive Club football for almost a year.
In January this year, Miya joined Ukrainian top tier side FC Lyviv, but he never got a chance to play after the league was suspended before kick off due to Russia invasion.
He has spent about six months without a club then after he was released by Konyaspor FC at the start of the 2021/2022 season.
Turkish second division starts on August 14 2022.
The former Vipers player has also played for Standard Liege (Belgium) and HNK Gorica (Croatia) among other clubs.
