Tom Ikara: Goalkeeper Fourth Signing At BUL FC

 

Uganda Premier League side BUL FC have confirmed goalkeeper Tom Ikara who joins the side on a two-year deal.

Ikara who moves from Police FC, is the fourth signing of the Eastern giants after they acquired Ronald Otti (Mbarara), Frank Kalanda (Police) and Emmanuel Obua (Kyetume).

Ikara who was moulded by the BB Soda academy and Blacksmith Football Club in the lower divisions, came through the ranks of Busoga United before the side were even promoted to Uganda Premier League.

He later guided the side to UPL from Big League in a season he was named the best goalkeeper after making 13 clean sheets.

After his impressive show at Busoga United, the goalkeeper joined KCCA FC in January 2018 where he won the league title.

He later joined Mbarara City on loan in 2019 before signing for Police FC.

He will be fighting for a starting place against the likes of Saidi Keni, Emmanuel Kalyowa and John Okurut.

BUL FC recently added Simon Peter Masaba on their technical team have had Simon Peter Oketch, Martin Aprem and Reagan Kalyowa extend their contract.

Umar Mukobe had his contract mutually terminated.
