KCCA FC have announced their third signing ahead of the upcoming 2022/2023 season after capturing the services of youngster Saidi Mayanja.
Mayanja has put pen to paper on a five-year deal which will run until 2027.
He is the latest addition after the club recently unveiled Faisal Wabyona and Moses Waiswa in this transfer window.
The 18-year old Mayanja is a product of Edgar’s Youth Academy and MYDEL academy.
He was part of the Club’s contingent that toured Burundi recently in the Nkurunziza Cup and has eventually impressed coach Morley Byekwaso.
“I am overjoyed to sign for KCCA FC. When the Manager told me he wants to work with me, I just couldn’t hesitate,” Mayanja is quoted by the club.
“This is a very big club and I could not resist the opportunity to play for it.
“I know the competition here is pretty stiff but since I have been training with club for a while I am ready to fight and compete just like all other players in the squad.”
Mayanja, a versatile midfielder, joins a strong field that has the likes of Moses Waiswa, Ashraf Mugume, Arafat Usama, Emmanuel Wasswa among others.
