Buddu managed to beat Buvuma on Saturday in the Masengere group of the 2022 Masaza Cup at Masaka Recreation ground.
First half goals from Viane Bukenya and Bruno Bunyaga handed Buddu a deserved win in-front of their home fans.
It’s the first win for the defending champions who were held at home by Mawogola in the opener last month.
They will return to action on July 16 against Buluuli at Mijeera, in their first away game of the campaign.
Buvuma remain on three points having beaten Buluuli in their opener and will return to action when they host Ssingo at Kasaali next week.
Elsewhere, Ssingo who beat Kyadondo in their opener, continued with their impressive form with any away win over Mawogola thanks to Amuli Mukasa’s lone goal.
Isaac Mario Macro scored the only goal as Ssese beat Busujju at Kasekulo.
Goals from Ibrahim Kasenge and Lawrence Kambugu helped Busiro overcome Bugerere for their first win as well having drawn 1-1 with Kyaggwe last week.
Butambala beat Kabula 2-1 away in Kaliiro – Mathias Busulwa and Samuel Kalyango with a goal each for the Visitors while Shakiru Lubega scored a consolation for the hosts.
