Express FC’s attacker Eric Kambale is set join Sudanese giants Al-Merrikh, sources in Sudan have reported.
Kambale travelled to Sudan alongside Express FC CEO Isaac Mwesigwa and Vipers defender Joseph Dhata.

Sources have reported that the 2015 CAF Champions League semifinalists are considering only Kambale.
That Dhata has been away from action for a long spell with a knee injury.
Al-Merrikh picked interest initially when the two sides meet in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League last season.
Then, Kambale scored one of the two goals at Kitende, Martin Kizza with the other goal, as Express beat the Sudanese side 2-1.

And he continued to impress in the return leg, where Express lost 1-0 to bundle out on away goals rule.
Kambale is looked at as a vital addition to the 19-time Sudan Premier League champions after his exploits with the Red Eagles.
He has scored 23 goals in the last two seasons, including helping Express win their first league title in the 2020/21 season for the first time since 2011/12.
