UPDF Overcome JKL Dolphins To Move Third

UPDF Tomahawks beat JKL Dolphins 68-47 in the NBL match at Lugogo to move third on the log.

The Tomahawks staged a second half blitz to pick their 11th win of the ongoing campaign.

The first half ended 26-26 and UPDF made amends thereafter in the second period which they shared and moved the ball seamlessly.

JKL who missed Brian Namake and Jude Ochen, were not efficient on offense and turned the ball 32 times against UPDF’s 16.

Only Mabor Makol (14) scored in double figures for JKL Dolphins, with the big man adding 14 rebounds to complete a double double.

Okello David and Arthur Wanyoto scored 17 and 13 points respectively while Ferdinand Odama had 9 points and as many rebounds for the Tomahawks.

It’s the third straight win for UPDF who recently beat Our Saviour and Tropical Royals.

It’s the ninth loss for JKL who beat Power on Sunday.
