Video: Lutalo Hails Crested Cranes After 5-0 Zambia Win In Friendly

 

Crested Cranes head coach George William Lutalo praised the team’s performance in a build up game ahead of the upcoming 2022 AWCON tournament.

The Crested Cranes walloped Zambia 5-0 in a friendly match played at Grand Stade de Marrakech in Morocco.

Viola Nambi bagged a brace while Ritah Kivumbi, Fauzia Najjemba and Fazilah Ikwaput scored a goal each.

“We have just completed our last build up game against Zambia and I am happy with the performance from the girls, defeating a stronger side like Zambia is not easy,” Lutalo said

“We are going to build on that win and rectify our mistakes as we head into the AWCON tournament.”

The crested cranes will kick off their AWCON journey with a match against Senegal on July 3rd before taking on Morocco on the 5th and their last group game will come on July 8th against Burkina Faso.
