Simon Peter Oketch Commits Future At BUL

Attacking Midfielder Simon Peter Oketch has renewed his stay at BUL FC ahead of the new season.

Oketch has signed a two-year contract with BUL, a move that will see him stay at the club until June 2025.

He scored 9 of his 13 goals last season in the League in a season where the club finished fourth and also won the Uganda Cup.

“There is no reason why I should leave for another team. BUL is now a big club in the country, and I can achieve everything with this club,” Oketch told the media.

“I have grown up from here and I want to continue my growth with this team so that the club and I benefit mutually.

“BUL is set to achieve more and more success in the near future, and I want to be part of those success stories and history. So, extending my contract with the team was a no brainer.”

He joined BUL from their junior team in the 2019/20 season after helping the side win the Junior League in a campaign he was named the MVP.

The Mayuge born attacker had previously played for FC Ten Jinja.

BUL FC also unveiled striker Frank Kalanda as they strengthen their squad for next season where they will be playing in CAF Confederation Cup.
