SC Villa have acquired Kaaro Karungi FC versatile player Derrick Muhindo, it’s official.
Muhindo was integral as Kaaro Karungi earned promotion to FUFA Big League.
Signed as a holding midfielder then, Muhindo later was played in Defence last season in the Regional League.
He was later put into goal after Kaaro Karungi had a goalkeeping crisis, keeping a couple of clean sheets before saving two penalties in the playoffs final at Kyamate grounds to send the team to Big League.
It’s a fast rise for Muhindo who joined Kaaro Karungi midway last season.
He played for Bweera Boys, Broken SC and Kasese’s New Villa, both as a defender and goalkeeper.
The former student at Bwera Boys, joins SC Villa after undergoing successful trials with the club that recently sacked Greek Coach Petros Koukouras.
The Jogoos are reportedly in talks with Proline duo of Noordin Bunjo and Brian Mato.
