Express Duo Follow Bbosa At Gaddafi

Newly appointed Gaddafi FC coach Wasswa Bbosa has started assembling his squad that will “compete for the title” next season.

Bbosa has called up on the services of his defender Murushid Juuko and winger Godfrey Lwesibawa, a duo he worked with at Express FC.

Bbosa, sacked by Express on February 14 this year, won the Red Eagles’ first league title since 2011/12 last season and guided them to their maiden CECAFA Kagame Championship triumph.

And the two players were integral as Bbosa defied odds at Express FC, a template he wants to use at Gaddafi.

Juuko joined Express FC at the start of the 2020/21 season after ending his contract with Botola Pro side Wydad Casablanca.

Juuko has had stints with Bunamwaya (now Vipers), defunct Victoria University FC and Tanzanian giants Simba SC.

His experience includes two Africa Cup of Nations finals appearances with Uganda Cranes – 2017 (Gabon) and 2019 (Egypt).

Lwesibawa on the other hand, leaves Express, a side he joined in August 2020.

He has worked with Bbosa at Express, Tooro United and SC Villa.
