Gaddafi Unveil Bbosa, Sets Sight on League Title

Gaddafi FC have officially unveiled Wasswa Bbosa as their new head coach in a two-year deal.

Gaddafi parted ways with Peter Onen before the end of the season, and was replaced with Mubarak Wamboya on an interim.

The unveiling ceremony was held on Thursday at the Club’s home ground Gaddafi Arena in Jinja.

The former Express FC coach now wants to win the title!

“I promise the Gaddafi FC fans that the team is going to be competitive in the 2022/2023 season. Our targets are set on fighting for the trophy and we are going to compete for it,” Bbosa said.

Bbosa is banking on support from the club, his past experience and a good technical team to work with.

He will be assisted by George Lutalo and Hassan Zungu. Ayub Balyejusa is the trainer while Sam Kawalya will handle the goalkeepers.

Lutalo, now with Crested Cranes in Morocco for Women AFCON, was previously at Onduparaka.

Kawalya and Balyejusa were with Bbosa at Express while Zzungu has been at Gaddafi.

Bbosa is expected to move with some former Express players including John Byamukama and Godfrey Lwesibawa.

Gaddafi finished 8th on the log with 37 points in the league last season.
