She Cranes Take Commonwealth Preps To The East

 

Uganda’s National Netball Team (Women), the She Cranes, is off to the Eastern part of the Country as they continue with their preparations for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

The team is touring Namutumba in Busoga sub-region for their second tour after their first in Masaka last weekend.

A couple of activities are lined up for the day including Community Work before a match with Eastern Region Select side at Kisiki College Playground later on Sunday.

While in Masaka, Uganda Netball Federation President Sarah Babirye Kityo said that the tour is intended not only to fine-tune the She Cranes but also make Netball the number one Sport in Africa.

Tours to the West, North and Central regions are lined up as the Federation also seek to spread the game across the country.

The team is training at Kamwokya Community Sports Centre
