Algeria extended their lead atop of Group F with a 2-0 win over Tanzania in the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers match in Dar es Salaam.

Rami Bensebaini and Mohamed El Amine Amoura were on target for the Desert Foxes who also won by the same scoreline in Algiers against the Uganda Cranes.

The 2019 AFCON Champions move to six points and will face Niger in a double header in September.

Niger are in two points after a 1-1 away draw with Uganda Cranes who are level on just a point with Tanzania.

Bensebaini scored at the stroke of halftime after a Youcef Bellaili freekick was brought back into play by Aissa mandi.

And they got the second in the 89th minute with Amoura bundling home after an assist from Ismail Bennacer.
