Matiyasi FC, a South African lower division side, has been banned for life after their 59-1 controversial victory.
The side, playing their final game of the season, were third on the log and three points adrift of top spot and 18 goals behind as well.
They got more than what they deserved, beating their opponents 59-1 in their bid to earn promotion to the Limpompo ABC Motsepe League.
But to make matters worse, 41 of the goals scored were own goals!

According to FarPost, the opponents had a player who sent off in the first half, but is part of the goal scorers!
Matiyasi FC’s promotion contenders, Shivulani Dangerous Tigers, won their respective match Kototo Happy Boys 33-1 on the same date.
That game also had Seven own goals, per reports in South Africa.
The four clubs involved in the said two matches were summoned by South African Football Association last month.
And the quartet were found guilty, and have been given life time bans for corruption and going against the SAFA’s statutes.
A couple of club officials, including Matiyasi FC coach Kaizer Hlungwani, have also been given lengthy bans.
