The two Uganda Cranes’ 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers matches in June will be broadcast live on Sanyuka TV, this website has established.
Uganda Cranes start their campaign away to Algeria on June 4 before hosting Niger on June 8 at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
It’s a good move for Sanyuka TV, the official StarTimes UPL broadcaster, to give a chance to Ugandans to watch their National team live in action.
“Yes, Algeria vs Uganda will be LIVE on Sanyuka Television. So will Uganda vs. Niger a few days later, both in Luganda commentary and analysis,” said Desire Derekford Mugumisa, the Next Media Head of Corporate Affairs.
“We are breaking the norms – exclusive content such as the Olympics, Euro and more have come to you via Sanyuka Television, as well as 89 live games of the StarTimes UPL last season; no TV ever broadcasted more than 50 before! There is so much more where that came from.”
Besides Uganda Cranes matches, Sanyuka will also broadcast a couple of other AFCON Qualifiers matches including Rwanda Vs Senegal.

It’s full camp for Uganda Cranes in Tunisia after the arrival of Ivan Bwomono, Derrick Kakooza and Khalid Aucho on Tuesday.
The complete list of fixtures set to be broadcast on Sanyuka Television include;
•Ghana vs. Madagascar, June 1, 2022, 10 PM
