KIU Titans Reinforce Squad Ahead Of Second Round

 

KIU Titans want to compete strongly in the 2022 National Basketball League if we are to go with their transfer business.

The side has reportedly added three new signings ahead of the second round that tips off on June 3 2022.

Kenya Morans forward Fidel Okoth, former UCU Canons shooting guard Isaiah Mabeny Ater and Silverbacks big man Stanley Mugerwa are the said players.

Strong reports suggest that the Titans are working tirelessly to bring back guard Faisal Aden!

Fidel featured for City Oilers last season before the league was cancelled due to COVID-19.

He later joined Oman’s giants Nizwa Club later on.

Ater left UCU last season after completing his studies

Ater, a reputable shooter, was part of the UCU Canons squad that reached the 2019 NBL finals, in a season he averaged 10.7 points.

Mugerwa, formerly at Warriors, was at Titans last season before the season was canceled due to Covid, and he later went to Burundi.

Then, Mugerwa played five games for Titans, averaging 6.4 points and 7 rebounds.

The Titans finished the first round fifth with seven wins and five losses.
