Uganda Cranes: Okello, Kyambadde Join Camp In Tunisia

 

Uganda Cranes camp in Tunisia has been boosted with the arrival of Allan Okello and Allan Kyambadde as the team prepares for their first 2023 AFCON Qualifiers match against Algeria.

Six more foreign-based players will be expected to join the team before Algeria match on June 4th.

These are Bevis Mugabi, Elvis Bwomono, Aucho Khalid, Abdu Aziz Kayondo, Derrick Kakooza and Steven Serwadda.

 

The Cranes are camped in Tunisia and will play a practice match with Hammam Sousse on Monday as coach Micho continues to fine tune the Boys.

The venue for the ALGERIA VS UGANDA match has been changed to 5th July 1962 stadium in Algiers not Oran as earlier stated.

Uganda is in Group F of the 2023 AFCON Qualifiers alongside Algeria, Niger and Tanzania, with the top two teams earning a ticket to the AFCON finals in Ivory Coast next year.
