Lower Division: Newcomers Livingstone Continues Ascendancy

Livingstone Basketball Club continued to flourish in the Division One with a deserved 65-50 victory over Mak Eagles on Sunday at YMCA.

After earning promotion from D-League, Livingstone have managed to overcome each obstacle and lead the Division One table with nine wins from as many games.

Coach Matovu Eric is however not taken away as he remains focussed on the team goals.

“9 wins out of 9 doesn’t matter because we have targets and how we are going to reach them is to cross the finish line having attained our goals,” says coach Matovu in an interview with The-SportsNation.

Matovu who credited the structures at the club for an impressive show, adds: “We still need to improve in a lot of many things interms of the structures put in place and I believe we will reach Our goal if We continue with the hard work and humility.”

He adds that the “sky can’t be the limit if all the pieces are in the right place.”
